This summer I am going on a mission trip to Moldova with my church through Justice & Mercy International, a faith based organization dedicated to bringing hope and practical help to the poor, orphaned, and vulnerable children in Eastern Europe.

Some Moldova Facts:

• Average yearly income per person: $4,669

• Smallest country of the former Soviet Union—about the size of Maryland

• Economy is ranked as the 40th out of the 43 European nations

• More than 25,000 Moldovans are trafficked abroad yearly

• Ranked 15th in the world on the Global Slavery Index

This is my first overseas trip on my own and I'm excited for this new experience! I will be stepping out of my comfort zone and know I will grow in my faith by serving others.

The trip is scheduled for June 26-July 4 and to make it possible for me to go I am trying to raise $1000 in support to help cover my expenses. Any gift will help me get there. I am also asking for your prayer support as I prepare, travel, and work with the children.
