Pastor Abílio Rodrigues is married to Miriam Leite da Silva Rodrigues, and together they have 3 children. Abílio lives in the São Thomé indigenous community, in Rio Negro. He had his life radically transformed when he was 18, and since then he's been doing the work of God. He is a missionary pastor of the 7-day Adventist Church and has been in ministry for over 20 years. Abílio works in 3 communities in the rural area of Manaus; Igarapé Açuzinho, São Sebastião and São Thomé. These are about 6 hours by boat from the capital.
