Acidalia is a missionary on the Paran do Supi portion of the River. She is married, mother of eight children, four biological and four adopted. She has been in ministry for the past 2 years in a very remote and poor village where they have no electricity and almost no access to medical care. Her village is about 8 hours by boat from Manaus on the Parab do Supi River. Acidalia told us that her kids share all the same clothes because they can't afford to clothe them all.
