Her parents are not married but live together. There is physical abuse in the family. Her mother is Veronica and she does not work. The mother Veronica was raised by her old sister from age 11 because her parents died. Artea’s father is Mihail. He works as a builder in the village but doesn’t have a permanent job. He struggles with alcohol abuse. Artea has two sisters. Vlada (her twin sister) and Svetlana who is 4. Her family lives in an old house in two small rooms for 5 persons. There are no utilities in the house. Artea will go to school in September 2020. She will be in 1st grade. She wants to go to school. Artea’s favorite color is red. Her favorite animal is a cow because it gives milk. Her favorite food is fried eggs. Artea’s favorite activity is cleaning the house. She likes to clean her room. The happiest days in her life are the Christmas season. Her dream is to have a Masa doll (it is a hero from the Russian cartoon “Masa and Bear”). Artea wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
