He lives in Hincesti Village at the Brândușa Center group home because his mother, Valentina, didn't take care of the children due to her major issue with alcohol consumption. His birth father died, and his mother remarried, but his stepfather, who works, does not help because he spends all of his salary on alcohol. Daniil has an older sister who lives in Chișinău, but she rarely visits him. Despite this situation in his life, he remains a very attentive and friendly child. His favorite color is black, and his favorite animal is the lion. He dreams of having a real car.
