 Svetlana’s parents are not married but live together. There is physical abuse in the family. Her mother is Veronica and she does not work. The mother Veronica was raised by her old sister from age 11 because her parents died. Svetlana’s father is Mihail. He works as a builder in the village but doesn’t have a permanent job. He struggles with alcohol abuse. Svetlana has two sisters, Artea and Vlada, and they are twins. They are 7. Her family lives in an old house in two small rooms for 5 persons. There are no utilities in the house. Svetlana goes to kindergarten. She likes to play with Legos. It is her favorite toy. Svetlana’s favorite color is pink. Her favorite animal is a goat because it gives milk. Her favorite food is borscht (a type of soup). Svetlana’s favorite activity is playing with any constructors. She likes to build something. The happiest days in her life are summer days. The unhappiest days in her life are winter days. She does not like cold weather. Her dream is to have a Lego of her own. Svetlana wants to be a teacher just like her sister Artea dreams of being.
