She speaks very little, but it is already noticeable that she has a strong personality. She lives with her mother and grandfather. Her mother is a 16-year-old teenager, when she became pregnant with Yasmin, she was only 12 years old. A high-risk pregnancy, she tried to abort, but God didn't allow it. Yasmin was born premature, at 7-months, and stayed in the ICU in Manaus for about 2 months. They need food and clothing. She is a very vulnerable child, at risk to many dangers. Her father, an 18-year-old boy, has been arrested several times for robbery and drugs, and her grandfather (with whom she lives) drinks heavily.
