Ala was born in Rujnita Village. Her mother, Inga, does not work. Her mother’s boyfriend works seasonal jobs in agriculture. Ala has three sisters: Valeria, Melisa, and Dina, who are ages 7, 5, and 11. Ala's family lives in a small, two-room house, that does not have utilities. Ala's favorite school subjects are English and Romanian language. Ala's favorite colors are black and white. When she grows up, she wants to be a singer. Her favorite foods are potatoes and chicken soup. Ala says that the happiest day in her life is her birthday, and the unhappiest day in her life was when her grandfather died.
