Pastor Mauro is married to Valzeneide Coelho Mendes, and together they have 4 children. He is the pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Amazonas, and has been in ministry for 35 years. He served the army a long time ago, and he loves to do God's work. Mauro has been doing ministry since he was 23 years old. His greatest passion is winning souls to God and advancing His kingdom. Mauro's mission field is in Iranduba, on the Solimões River, about 2 hours by boat from Manaus. It is accessible to the city by car as well. He works in two communities in Rio: São José I and Terra Preta.
