Pastor Alysson is 42 years old, married to Miriã Flores, they have 2 children, Júlia (15 years old) and Samuel (11 years old). He has been in pastoral ministry for 18 years for the Baptist Convention of Amazonas. He works in São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Rio Içana, about 3 days by boat from Manaus, oversees about 13 riverside communities. Pr Alysson has lived in an indigenous community for 10 years. Today, he works with the indigenous people who live in São Gabriel and also works by translating the bible into the local language.
